With a total area of 1.56 square miles and a population of 7,128 (as of the 2010 census) it borders the Borough of Waldwick to the north, the Village of Ridgewood to the east and the Township of Wyckoff to the west. Getting Around

New Jersey Transit bus routes provide service to and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan, with local service also available on some routes. Nearby New Jersey Transit train stations in Waldwick, Ho-Ho-Kus and Ridgewood offer service to and from New York's Penn Station.

Education

Schools in the Midland Park School District are Godwin School (for grades K-2), Highland School (grades 3 - 6) and Midland Park High School (grades 7 - 12). Eastern Christian Elementary School is a private Christian day school that serves students in pre-K through fourth grade as part of the Eastern Christian School Association, which also includes a middle school located in Wyckoff and Eastern Christian High School in North Haledon.

Parks & Recreation

The DePhillips Recreation Center located on Dairy Street offers something for everyone, from cooking classes to yoga to a full summer day camp. Wortendyke Toddler Park is the town's newest addition and is within walking distance of the famous Hot Dog Caboose where you'll find plenty of kid-friendly fare.
