Fall will finally be in the air tomorrow and I can’t wait to get outside. When I’m not hosting an open house or taking clients out house hunting, I love spending my weekends at the local outdoor fall fairs & festivals. Here I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites. Hope to see you there!
Ridgewood’s 25th Annual Car Show, Sept. 7 – Over 400 cars from all over the area visit our downtown for the evening. Music, Trophies and Food.
Northern Bergen County Lifestyle Festival, Sept. 15 Come explore more than 60 local and international exhibitors on the beautiful tree shaded property of the historic Hermitage Museum. The Hermitage will be open for complimentary house tours.
Bergen County Food & Wine Festival, Sept. 15-16 – County’s only community celebration of food and wine is coming to a tented area of Garden State Plaza’s parking lot this September. Day 1: Burgers & Brews and Day 2: Tasting Village
Ridgewood Fall Craft & Art Street Festival, Sept. 16 This winner of the “Best of Bergen” numerous times features 165 exhibitors with arts, crafts, photography, all day music and a large Kidz Zone. A large food court with delicious festival foods will be available.
Franklin Lakes Festival, Sept. 22-23 – Come out and enjoy a Car Show by Top Gear Imports, local band “What’s What”, thrilling carnival rides and amazing food trucks. New this year is our kids zone with pony rides and free inflatables.
Afternoon Garden Tea Party, Sept. 30 – Guests will eat scrumptious finger sandwiches and sweets on the verandas of The Hermitage, which was used as a tea room in the 1920’s. Tea for the event will be brewed from herbs grown at The Hermitage.
Bergen County Harvest Festival, Sept. 29-30 – This two day fair offers crafters, food vendors, 4H animal exhibits (including chick hatching!), master gardener displays and workshops, games, face painting, hay rides and mazes, music and a carnival!
